The Schooner house is a year round house with a beautiful view of the ocean.  This house sleeps up to 10 people, has lots of greats views, is centrally located near Acadia National Park, and is steps from the Atlantic Ocean.

  This year-round house will remind you of an old-fashion sailing ship.  With its bowed front wall, you have amazing view of the ocean.  This area is where the main living space is located.  There are large windows on three walls, a woodstove, and a breakfast bar looking into the kitchen.  The living room also has a DSS TV and a VCR.  The sleeping loft (with twin/double bunk and twin bed), is perched just above.  It has the same wonderful view.  The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cook-top, and electric oven in an island.  There is a dishwasher and full sized refrigerator.  In the kitchen, there is a large dinning area with picture window looking out to the woods.  The remaining rooms, on the first floor, are a full bath with claw foot tub, and a bedroom with a double bed.  The second  floor has the sleeping loft with double/twin bunk and a twin bed, and the master bedroom with a king bed.  In the master bedroom, there is a balcony and a fireplace, as well as a large bathroom.  You can enjoy the deck in the front, looking out to the ocean, or the peaceful deck in the rear of the house, watching the woods.  Look at the photo album to see the view from the front lawn.

   This wonderful house is available for weekly, (Sat. to Sat.), from June to October and with a 3 night minimum the rest of the year. In season the rent is $1350 - $1750 per week, off season the rate is $150 per night with a 3 night minimum (+7% Maine Lodging tax).
